What We Collect
Whyse collects the information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password) and the engineering decision records you enter through the platform, including the ORD plugin, Bluebeam companion, and web dashboard. We also collect basic usage analytics to improve the product.

How We Use It
Your data is used solely to provide the Whyse service. Decision records are stored securely and are only accessible to members of your organization. We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties. AI features (search, briefings, reasoning assistance) process your data only within your organization's context.

Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest and in transit. Row-level security policies ensure users can only access data within their own organization. Enterprise customers can request dedicated database instances.

Your Rights
You can export or delete your data at any time. If you cancel your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days. For enterprise accounts, data retention terms are specified in your service agreement.

1. Service Description
Whyse provides a decision capture and recall platform for civil engineering firms. The service includes web-based dashboard access, browser plugins for Bentley OpenRoads Designer, a companion application for Bluebeam Revu, and AI-powered features for decision search and project briefings.

2. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all decision records, project data, and content you create in Whyse. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You grant Whyse a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service, including AI-powered features.

3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Whyse for its intended purpose of engineering decision documentation. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. You agree not to attempt to access other organizations' data or circumvent security measures.

4. Billing
Individual accounts are billed monthly at the published rate. Enterprise accounts are billed according to their service agreement. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

5. Limitation of Liability
Whyse is a documentation and recall tool. It does not provide engineering advice and is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment. Whyse is not liable for engineering decisions made using the platform. The AI features provide suggestions and summaries that should be verified by qualified engineers.

6. Changes
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
